After bustling Arusha we headed
through diverse landscapes on the
way to Karatu, the launch point to
Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Arriving in Karatu, weary and looking
forward to some R&R we reflected
upon the trip so far and prepared for
our safari. The following days would
take us into Ngorongoro (8,288
square kilometres) and Serengeti
(14,763 square kilometres).
