Arusha
Arusha is a vibrant city in northern
Tanzania, known as a gateway
to safari destinations and
Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest
peak. With a population of over
400,000, it’s the capital of the
Arusha Region, bustling with tourism,
commerce, and a diverse cultural
mix. The city’s economy thrives on
agriculture, particularly coffee and
flowers, and it hosts the East African
Community headquarters. Arusha’s
mild climate and close proximity to
Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and
Arusha National Park make it
a popular starting point for wildlife
safaris. The city also has a rich
history and heritage, reflected in its
museums and local markets.
