Maweni Regional Referral Hospital
Dr. Stanley Binagi, the Medical
Officer in Charge of Maweni Hospital,
is a highly motivated individual.
We were so pleased to meet him and
we received a great tour through the
hospital. It appears to be everything
we have hoped for, allowing children
to receive treatment locally instead
of travelling across the country,
except in specialist circumstances.
They appear to have everything we
need, including prosthetics.
This addresses a significant ongoing
issue. After some checks, we plan
to start in February, beginning with
reviews of children whose travel to
Arusha for check-ups is impractical.
